Part IV: Self Help and Knowing Where to Find It.

“Current Medical Model” Solutions, and Complimentary or “At Home” DIY solutions, including the new ICR Method

To treat our "FAWS" (Fears, Anxieties, Weaknesses & Struggles) we’ll look at using the “Current Medical Model” and cover the traditional treatment methods, then because the whole thrust of this website is DIY self-help strategies for those who simply cannot seek or receive professional help, we’ll list DIY versions of the Current Medical Model therapies.

We appreciate this approach may be decried by established therapists as unworkable and potentially a diversion, but we would remind them that neither they nor any other qualified people are available for the folks we are trying so desperately to help, so with qualifications we offer our DIY Current Medical Model solutions.

When we move onto true non Medical Model therapies we will start with the most useful, and the one most often suggested by doctors and therapists alike, Mindfulness. Mindfulness techniques can be practiced by anyone whenever they choose and is a true DIY “At Home Therapy”.

Then we’ll check out the new and exciting ICR Method approach. As this has helped so many folks we know first hand, myself included.

For now let’s dive into the Current Medical Model therapies...

While the above intro gives you an idea of what to expect, listed below is an Index of the 140+ pages of insightful information contained just in Part 4 ...
